Back to Back takes the health and safety of our patients, staff and practitioners very seriously.  We have put many protocols in place to minimize the risk of transmission of COVID-19 infection.

We have posted our disinfectant procedures in the building, screen our staff and practitioners daily and much more.  For more information do not hesitate to ask for the list.

Policies and Procedures to be aware of before your visit

  • We ask patients to wear masks when they enter the clinic. Masks are available if you don't have one on hand (one per patient per visit).

  • When booking an appointment, you will be screened for COVID-19 infection as well as other questions involved.

  • We are not allowing anyone to book who are exhibiting any possible signs of COVID-19 infection, so if you are experiencing coughing, sneezing, have a stuffy or runny nose, chest pain, sore throat, loss of smell and/or taste, headache, chills, fever, shortness of breath, or tight chest. We also encourage patients to do the online self assessment the day of their appointment.                                                                   (takes you to a new tab-government site)

  • We are not allowing anyone to book who have been outside of BC in the last 14 days or been in contact with someone who has been outside of BC in the last 14 days. We are not allowing anyone to book who have been in contact with someone in the last 14 days who have had the above symptoms or have a confirmed case of COVID-19 infection.

  • When you arrive please knock on the door; your practitioner or a staff member will let you in.  Please arrive only a couple minutes before your appointment.  We cannot allow you in until the time of your appointment.

  • When you enter you must sign a waiver confirming our screening questions and your temperature will be taken.

  • You will be instructed to wash your hands.

  • NO COMPANIONS are allowed in the building at the time of your appointment unless they are essential to your care or the patient is a minor then a parent/guardian is welcome to accompany the patient. 

  • Staff is not permitted to child mind when you are getting treated.

  • Paper receipts are not available at this time so if you would like a receipt, please provide an email address for us to mail them to. 

  • Patients are asked to avoid touching any handles that a staff member or practitioner can touch for them.

  • We ask everyone to stay 6 feet or more away from anyone else when possible.  We have implemented seating/lines on floors etc to help with this. 

  • Everyone gets a tickle in their nose or throat from time to time so if you need to sneeze or cough, we ask you do this in your elbow and to turn your body away from anyone and let a staff member know so we can sanitize the area around you.

  • You must comply with our infection control procedures while at the clinic or you will be asked to leave.

  • If there is paperwork that is needed to be filled out please visit our intake forms page and select the appropriate paperwork.  This includes intakes, extended health direct billing forms, MVA forms and WCB forms.  Instructions are on that page as well on how to get us these forms in a paperless way. They come to us blank if you don't follow the instructions and will result in having to fill it out again.
