Bryce

Bryce Goddard, R.M.T. was born and raised here in Victoria and graduated from the 3000 Hour Registered Massage Therapy Program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2012. He began his massage career at one of the top spas on Vancouver Island and joined our team at Back to Back in 2014. Having a background in competitive athletics, fitness/health, and personal training, Bryce's interests was always in helping athletic injuries, rehabilitation, and chronic pain, but is experienced in treating a variety of issues. Bryce focuses on helping to correct muscle imbalances, improper posture and common habits that can lead to a wide variety of injuries and pain issues. Bryce has worked with many local athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and sports academy students over the years, while providing a deep tissue style treatment. Bryce believes in steering clear of the "no pain, no gain" myth and focuses more on investigation, education, and adaptation of habits and muscle patterns in an attempt to find the root cause of pain and injury, not simply treating symptoms as they arise. Bryce's treatments still maintain some of the relaxation and systemic treatment techniques from his spa days, with an awareness the whole body is affected whenever pain, stress, or injuries are present. Bryce treats a wide variety of issues including: chronic pain, postural issues, athletic injuries, headaches/migraines, sciatica, whiplash, scoliosis, stress and anxiety, and many other conditions. Bryce is currently accepting new patients.
