Meet The Registered Massage Therapists

Samantha Anderson R.M.T. lived on the westside of Kelowna for most of her life and then moved to Victoria at the age of 20. Samantha began working at Back to Back in 2008. After assisting Dr. Julia and being emerged in the industry for 2 years she realized that she wanted to pursue a career in Massage Therapy. Samantha has lots of experience and enjoys treating a variety of musculoskeletal and myofascial issues with a variety of patients. She uses techniques that aid in stress relief, tension reduction and increasing range of motion or mobility. Samantha has a great passion for Massage Therapy and is always looking to advance herself in practice and improving abilities through other training modalities like Kinesio Taping. Having worked at Back to Back for more than 12 years she feels like the staff are her extended family and she really enjoys coming to work everyday! She loves to practice yoga and go on hikes with her puppy Murphy in her spare time.

Bryce Goddard, R.M.T. was born and raised here in Victoria and graduated from the 3000 Hour Registered Massage Therapy Program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2012. He began his massage career at one of the top spas on Vancouver Island and joined our team at Back to Back in 2014. Having a background in competitive athletics, fitness/health, and personal training, Bryce's interests was always in helping athletic injuries, rehabilitation, and chronic pain, but is experienced in treating a variety of issues. Bryce focuses on helping to correct muscle imbalances, improper posture and common habits that can lead to a wide variety of injuries and pain issues. Bryce has worked with many local athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and sports academy students over the years, while providing a deep tissue style treatment. Bryce believes in steering clear of the "no pain, no gain" myth and focuses more on investigation, education, and adaptation of habits and muscle patterns in an attempt to find the root cause of pain and injury, not simply treating symptoms as they arise. Bryce's treatments still maintain some of the relaxation and systemic treatment techniques from his spa days, with an awareness the whole body is affected whenever pain, stress, or injuries are present. Bryce treats a wide variety of issues including: chronic pain, postural issues, athletic injuries, headaches/migraines, sciatica, whiplash, scoliosis, stress and anxiety, and many other conditions. Bryce is currently accepting new patients.

Jennifer enjoys spending time with family and all that Vancouver Island has to offer. She loves a good game of tennis, sailing on the ocean, experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes, staying fit and reading page-turning books that can’t be put down. Enjoying family and friends and living healthy are important aspects of her everyday life.
